Thank you to everyone who commented on the first show. It felt REALLY good to get such positive vibes from everyone and I hope you’ll spread the word to others about this show so that we can get some really good steam going around these parts.

Managing the Gray #2 Shownotes:
  • Special thanks to Cali Lewis for the voice over work and to Madsumo for the music.
  • Talk about the origins of the name and where it came from
  • The duality of Charles vs. C.C.
  • Discussed the importance of thinking about your “self brand” and why it is important
  • Asked for your questions to be e-mailed or called in so that I can answer them on future shows. I really want the listeners involvement
  • Comment Line: 206-309-4729 (GRAY)

Not sure what the schedule is going to be, but the goal is once a week. We’ll have to wait and see if that works or not.

Thanks for the great show, CC! I’m one who has that “identity” problem. I’m known as Mrs. B in the internet world and especially in the football world. I was never sure what I should do when I start my new show but I’m going to go for it with Mrs. B all the way.

Keep up the great work, Buddy!

Great show…directed your way by FIR. You have put a perfect phrase to our work – Managing the Grey!

Looking forward to future shows. You are right, nothing is static. Personal branding is so important. Food for thought…brand who you are…your transparant soul. Just like a business. Check out my program – the principles are static, but the work is constant.

    Thank you!

I am a regular of FIR and ATS.

I just took a listen – really great. Funny, on-target – exactly the kinds of things we (familyevolutions.com) think about all the time. I totally relate, by the way, to having the work identity and the non-work identity. I think most of the people I work with wouldn’t recongnize me in my street clothes! And the techie vs. marketing thought blockage is so true – I experience that all the time.

Nice show. Thx to Cali Lewis for suggesting I check it out. Don’t short change your comments on personal branding. Its crtical. Your brand embodies who you are and what you stand for. You create brand through packaging (names, music), communication (message, style and tone), and repitition. The latter is important so that folks know how to think / what to think when they hear your name.

    Looking forward to hearing more.
