We Are All Only a Few Pixels Away

Mitch Joel inspired me. Plain and simple. His new podcast called Six Pixels of Separation is top notch and it still amazes that I had a hand in getting him into podcasting. I’d pat myself on the back, but that won’t help the cause.

This is a quick cast from the car because I was so inspired by both the podcast and also a conversation that had just happened at the office with my friend Julien from In Over Your Head.

Passion drives podcasting. The sooner you get that. The sooner you will be successful.

    This is very cool.

    Thanks for the shout-out CC.

I have to give props where props are due. I would not be doing my Podcast without you and Joseph Jaffe’s inspiration and mentorship.

Also, the title, Six Pixels of Separation was the brainchild of Tanya – who works with us.

It’s great to see that it’s a small world after all.

Hi CC. You don’t know me, but I subscribe to MtG and have heard you (and about you) on AtS.

Just wanted to say sorry about your grandmother. I had one pass a little over a month ago, so the feelings are still pretty fresh in my mind.

    Keep up the good work.

CC: It scares me that you podcast and drive at the same time! I’m so glad I’m not driving in the NE. “Well officer, you see I was recording a podcast while I was driving about 80 mph and then there was this bus…..”
And you think the lawnmower is dangerous?! :)

The recorder is sitting in the coffee cup holder and I’m just babbling away. The mic is good enough that I don’t have to even pay attention to it. I hit record at a red light and then just let it roll.

Then it’s just a nice casual drive through the woods as I babble away into the air and then to your earbuds.
