After the last page, I closed the book and waited for someone to make it happen. So Second Life appears. And I enter. It's not what I had invisioned, so I leave. A year later, I give it another shot. The Metaverse has finally come back around, full circle apparently, and I eagerly await the Snow Crash sim!!! I loved the book when I read it when it first came out and I think it drove me even more into a career working online. I have to say when I re-read it a few years ago though it wasn't a good as I remembered, and I think in some way it might be because we "caught up" with it? But, either way, I look forward to the SL sim. All we need is a bit of the Diamond Age in there as well and I can make my own Mr Lee's Greater Hong Kong :) this is great news!
