Be Your Number One Fan
I’m still buzzing from the reaction to the last show and the presentation from PodCamp Boston.
Today we continue the conversation about things to think about when your at a conference. Why you need to be your number 1 fan and a great quote from the always interesting and intriguing Eric Rice.
I also hinted at some new Second Life stuff I’ve got going on. Finally getting one permanent space for the C.C. Chapman Media Empire as someone once coined it. It might be a little dirty for a while, but it’ll all work out I promise. But, until then check out SL Podcast which should have my interview up shortly.

“Be Your Number One Fan” was a very good last minute reminder about “attending” a conference prior to the upcoming Expo in Ontario, Ca. It’s easy for one to forget the things they are usually good at; i.e. having business cards on hand, and reaching out to folks outside the “box.” I’m hoping this works in my favor as I’m usually outgoing when I want to, but can also be quiet and withdrawn, and hence my podcast name, Ed’s “Mixed” Bag!!! One thing for sure; I’m gonna make a point of talking to whoever is on that lunch line with me. After an initial meet up with those I’ve been chatting with for a year, i’ll be looking for faces I don’t recognize. Looking forward to saying “hi” to you of course!
