Apple’s Lawyers Can Bite Me!

I’m not going to write about it more here since I just posted a nice long rant here.

I can’t begin to express how upset this has me.

My stance is going to be:

“The Community owns the term podcasting. Not ANY company.”

I’m saying it and I hope others do to. Let them know how loud podcasters can be.

Not just let them know how loud – let them know how influential where it counts the MOST – the bottom line.

    Pick a day, any day.

    Make that Podcast Protest Day.

Add an affiliate link to a competing MP3 player, like the Creative Zen or Microsoft Zune. Be sure, of course, to sign up for the affiliate program so that any sales give you a little extra cash, too.

Oh yeah, that’s a great idea. Dump Apple and link to Microsoft. Microsoft would *never* turn on their customers…..

Not permanently. Just for a day or so. A little more diversity in the marketplace is good :)

Rob Walch from Podcast 411 comes out and slaps us all upside the head – and rightfully so. He’s got the real 411 on the Podcast Ready kerfuffle and the real deal. Public shoutout to Rob!

The show doesn’t appear in a regular episode on the site – you have to subscribe.
