Are You 1 of the 2000?

I read about this 2000 Blogger idea that Tino was up to and I loved the idea. Totally open. See who is paying attention to the conversation and open to everyone to join in. Total insanity, but fun to look through and recognize faces and discover new ones. Is it wrong to discover a blog simply from an interesting photo? I don’t think so. Can you find me?

I was equally impressed with the idea. It’s fun to be a part of it! Things like this are a fun way to connect the big old blogosphere and give us an iea of how big it really is!!

Clicking a link to any blog you aren’t familiar with is a shot in the dark. It doesn’t really matter if you are looking at the title, the topic, or some random picture that may or may not be related to the blog. In short, I am more than happy to be on the list, and am curious to see if people click on me…
It’s a great idea, isn’t it? I couldn’t believe I was picked out though – I mean, 2,000 is a big number, but not when you consider the size of the blogosphere!
Keep up the podcasting, CC, it’s great stuff.

To answer your post title, yes; yes, I am 1 of the 2000. The 611th to be exact.
Wow, I can’t beleive I made it either. Cool, really cool idea.
I think people are really drawn to photos and even though it takes a long time to load it a cool idea to see it in full effect.
I think an interesting thing I noticed was it’s almost entirely white people.
Yes isn’t it a fantastic project – to see the faces of the people behind the blogs.
I too was thrilled to be included.
I think the list happened to be made up of mostly white people because it just happened that there are more popular blogs by whites and meant nothing else. I’m an asian and I’m included. Fifth guy from the twelve row is me!
I’m getting famous. I estimate with AWstats that 20 people had clicked on my picture. It’s so interesting, because they clicked on my face, unlike normal links where people click on either text or other images. Now, it’s my face they are clicking on!
Thanks for posting the 2000 faces and including Flooring The Consumer. Isn’t this an amazing way to capture the diversity of the blogosphere?
