Yo CC,
Left you a pic (http://flickr.com/photos/jeremyvaught/538217224/) of me listening to Managing the Grey cuz you asked about where we listen. I generally listen when I’m on the move (driving, walking, running, flying) or doing mindless activities like housework.

Also, I too don’t like the phone. There are certainly times when talking is better then text, but just for the quick stuff, text rules.

For productivity I use iGTD on mac. It does have sync ability, but I don’t use it.

I have read that ‘remember the milk’ has been installed with Google Gears enabling online web 2.0 stuff to be run offline. That might just be what you’re after…

I really liked it when you said that you weren’t a phone guy because that’s exactly how I am too! I try to channel all communication through email because it’s in writing, because I can compose my thoughts before I send them, and it gives me personal space away from the person. I find the phone very hard to deal with because I can’t see the person.

I neglect my mobile and rarely take it with me. I don’t have anyone to call!

I’ve felt guilty for years about avoiding phones because hardly anyone I’ve met feels the same way. I think they would think I’m odd. It’s good to know that someone else isn’t “a phone guy”.

I love using my Mac and plan to get a new macBook Pro soon, but I definitely heard what you said about them dropping the ball as far as your dealings with them are concerned.

What I’m wondering is, now that you have a Mac, how are you using CastBlaster? I thought it was a PC only app, or do you use another machine for podcasting?

Hey CC, listening to your podcast and am following up on your call for productivity tools. One thing I use to get things done (rather than always having lots of things going and never finishing any of them) is this page: http://www.marktaw.com/getbacktowork.htm

I use it to focus on one task at a time. I wish it didn’t register a ‘fail’ if you didn’t finish on time, but the idea works well for me.

I love the idea of Jott too. I record my ideas on my phone (I can record without making a call on my phone). But Jott offers an email and transcription, that is so much better. So, thanks to Dave for sharing that info too.
