Especially with the announcement that third party software will all be in the form of Web 2.0/Ajax apps; You really need some speed to make those sing. The new Blackberry Curve is sweeeet as well although it's edge too. New iPods in the iPhone form factor should be out just before xmas. They need a few months to let the iPhone sell, but I don't see how they can miss xmas with a new iPod. I won’t touch the iPhone until it goes 3G. I find them sadly lacking a lot of the time, though I have not tried the iPhone's yet. If you can find an LG prada they would probably be similar keyboards. The lack of 3G just murders the phone to me, given its pricetag and presumed capabilities. I'm sick of the hype but glad that it will drive innovation.
