What I’m Reading
I use to read all the time. I still read all the time, but it’s mainly RSS feeds and such and I want to get back to consuming books. Julien set off earlier this year on reading a book a week. That’s a cool goal and I know he is reading a TON and keeping on top of that. A conversation with him yesterday reminded me that I need to get back into reading books. It doesn’t hurt that in the past week I’ve had all these books arrive.
- Everything is Miscellaneous by David Weinberger
- Marketing to the Social Web by Larry Weber
- The 4-Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss
- Rule the Web by Mark Frauenfelder
There are a couple others that have been sent for review purposes and I’m going to to read those too.
What amazes me is the shear volume of new books being put out right now. There is no way you can’t find something to read right now if you wanted to. I can’t reccomend any of these books yet, but if and when I do fall in love with any of them you know I’ll share.
What are you reading right now? Have you read any of these? Let me know what you think.

Besides the dreaded APR text by Cutlip, I am reading Everything I Needed to Know about Being a Girl I Learned from Judy Blume
by Jennifer O’Connell (Editor), Meg Cabot, Julie Kenner, Beth Kendrick, Meg Cabot. I just finished David Meerman Scott’s new book, The New Rules of Marketing & PR.
I don’t even have time to read most of my blog & newsletter subscriptions, but I have started a book called “Making Ads Work – The writings of Roy H. Williams As compiled by Wizard of ads Partner Craig Arthur” – more of a booklet really. Can’t comment on it yet as I’ve just started
is rule the web good? i hear it’s pretty basic.
