You never know when: - something profound is going to slip out - something secret will be revealed - something will be the very last thing you receive from that person while they're alive We have the tools and technology to capture our world in ways generations past never could have dreamed. It's almost criminal NOT to use them. They're not a substitute for paying attention - they're a reinforcement of the idea that EVERY moment contains the potential to fulfill what we seek, if only we pay attention. Believe it or not, this is one of the many reasons I record EVERYTHING, or as close as I can. You never know when:

- something profound is going to slip out
- something secret will be revealed
- something will be the very last thing you receive from that person while they’re alive

We have the tools and technology to capture our world in ways generations past never could have dreamed. It’s almost criminal NOT to use them. They’re not a substitute for paying attention – they’re a reinforcement of the idea that EVERY moment contains the potential to fulfill what we seek, if only we pay attention.
