[...] Seth uses some very good real world examples throughout the book but this analogy did have any meaning for me at all. I got it, I just didn’t think it added anything to the narrative. That being said, I know that some people (including the well-respected C.C. Chapman thought that this analogy was fantastic).
I finished up Tribes this weekend, it was very enjoyable. I plan on picking up The Truth about You tonight, I've been meaning to get back to it.

I'm also reading Neil Gaiman's "The Graveyard Book" which is a great, creepy story, perfect for this time of year.

Great post, and I just called in a voicemail msg.

What you should be reading: Made to Stick by Dan and Chip Heath
Buying In by Rob Walker
and there's a new book coming out called Buyology by Martin Lindstrom that looks at how our brains react to advertising messages. I've only read 2 chapters, but have found it fascinating.

And a disclosure: I work for the publisher of all of these titles, but they are genuine recommendations that I would make even if I weren't affiliated.

Enjoy, and thanks for a great episode.
