Last week I flew down to Washington, DC for the WOMMA summit and promised that I’d post my presentation for people to download. It’s called “Marketing in Second Life: Embrace the Community Rather Than Ignore It.” I should say that it was given on December 12, 2006 since the numbers were outdated the moment I shared them. *grin*

Sorry for the delay. I was in San Francisco and realized I didn’t have my FTP information on my laptop! How bad is that?

This past weekend in Boston, people from all over the country gathered for PodCamp Boston. This first of it’s kind event drew all sorts of people. Photos were taken. Content was produced. New friends are made.

A personal highlight for me came when my buddy Mitch Joel and I gave a presentation to a standing room only crowd about how indviduals and companies can build their brand and become part of the conversation. It felt good. It felt energetic. It felt like perfect timing.

We didn’t get to finish the presentation which is too bad. I honestly think that the final points in the presentation are the most powerful. But, thanks to technology you get to hear a recording of what we did give. There are some inside jokes and interaction with the audience, but I hope the content is worthwhile.

Thank you Mitch for being part of this, It was both an honor and a privilege to do this with you.
